Weddings onboard Ipipiri Overnight Cruise

The romantic and secluded backdrop of the Bay of Islands makes for an exceptional setting for your day of celebration. Whether you are dreaming of something small and intimate or a venue that can cater for a large gathering of family and friends, Ipipiri Overnight Cruises has the facilities and expertise to work with you to create a unique and unforgettable event.

WEDDING CEREMONIES
Ipipiri Overnight Cruises has some great locations onboard that are suitable to host your wedding ceremony. For example, the large sundeck on level four with 360 degree, uninterrupted views, or level three with its semi-covered deck and open plan dining room.
Alternatively, arrange for a secluded island setting, or if a church ceremony is preferred we have the facilities to ferry passengers to Russell or pickup the wedding party and guests after your ceremony (additional cost).

PRE DINNER DRINKS AND CANAPÉS
The sundeck on level four works well for pre dinner drinks and canapés or try the stern deck on level three. If you opt for an island ceremony, a marquee can be setup in the same area for celebratory drinks (consents required).

WEDDING RECEPTION
Level three is the main reception area for weddings with its indoor/outdoor bar, semi-covered deck and open dining area. The dining area has capacity to cater for 60 guests in a formal dining setting and 110 cocktail style.
With panoramic sea views it is the prefect backdrop for your reception with meal options to suit your requirements.
A dance floor and band/DJ of your choice can be setup on level three to entertain your guests all evening. With an extended alcohol license, you and your guests can celebrate long until the evening.
With the ocean as our next door neighbour, our ability to manage noise restrictions is based on where the vessel is anchored for the evening.

Ipipiri offer three standard meal options for you to choose from, all utalising the freshest local produce and ingredients. If you are after a more personalised menu, our chef welcomes the opportunity to sit down with you to discuss your requirements in more detail. We have a wide variety of beverages available for your guests to enjoy at your wedding. If you require a specific brand or type of beverage please
just let us know and we will source this for you. Ipipiri operates on a Bar Tab system with beverages being served either per bottle or per glass. For your convenience Ipipiri offers an extended alcohol license.

WEDDING PHOTOS
Photos can be taken onboard the vessel or our onboard tender (a small run-about boat) can ferry you and your bridal party ashore.

Note – having your wedding onboard Ipipiri Overnight Cruises means your guests’ accommodation is automatically included as part of the venue hire. Some groups opt to pass the accommodation component onto their guests and we are happy to setup individual accounts if required – these details will be required seven days prior to your wedding.
